Creating different kinds of planets, especially habitable worlds has been one of my favorite past times. When the
wildly popular movie, Avatar, came out I was amused to have discovered the fact that several of my paintings,
some going all the way back to 1979 closely reflected a number of scenes depicted from James Cameron’s film.
I must confess that I’ve always loved creating great big blue gas giants hovering majestically in the night sky. I’ve
also loved creating habitable moons and satellites that orbit around these majestic blue giants. I think the
combination would make for a pretty site in the evening sky. Apparently, so did James Cameron.
